Some useful GDrive files
« am: 07. August 2017, 07:51:51 »

My friends and I wanted to play Contact, so I decided to try implementing / streamlining some of the game into neat GDrive files:

Character sheet -
Base Management Simulation -
Battle Sheet -

(The Sheets use macros for automation)

The character sheet is pretty simple - not much to add there.

The BMS should be fairly complete - you can manage your expenses, research and engineering projects, as well as personel healing. Everything is calculated on a per-day basis. At the end of the month (every 30 days), finances get applied.

The Battle Sheet took me a long time to develop. It's not finished, and I don't think I will be able to finish it all. It handles rolling for AP, managing AP, as well as performing ranged attacks on people. Ranged attacks also include automatic weapons and shotguns. It correctly rolls damage, calculates bullet damage, applies it through armour, calculates fatigue loss, limb crippling, etc. Things that are missing: melee, biomod damage, GM sheet applying damage, rolling crippling effects, non-humanoid body types, etc.

I don't think I will finish the battle sheet - it doesn't look like we will be playing the game. It's a bit too complex for some of our players. If anyone wants to use or modify the sheets - be my guest. Everything is shared under CC BY 4.0.

Hope you have fun with those sheets and they will help you run the game easier ;).

Maybe you find some useful thinks in my excel sheet under the topic "Excelblatt für die Charaktererstellung"
It is in german but the functions should work. It includes all equipment of contact, you can also add your own equipment if you want.
I was thinking of adding a Language bottom to switch from German to English but I have no English version of the rule set.
In the excel doc there are a sheets called "Schadenrechner" that can help you with the battle sheet.
